Roof Panel Roll Forming Machine
Color Steel Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine
A color steel roof sheet line with three groups of hydraulic punch stations, forming prepainted panels 0.5–0.8 mm thick at up to 15 m/min. Decoiler, forming, punching, cutting and run-out table sit on one base frame, so the line is commissioned as a single unit.
- Sheet thickness 0.5–0.8 mm
- Forming stations 15
- Forming speed 0–15 m/min
- Main motor 15 kW

Technical data
Color Steel Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine specifications
Values below are for the standard build of this model. Thickness range, station count and motor rating are re-calculated when the profile or the steel grade changes.
Send your profile drawing| Parameter | Value |

| Tensile strength | 550 MPa |
| Coil width | 1000 / 1200 / 1250 mm |
| Forming stations | 15 |
| Forming speed | 0–15 m/min |
| Shaft diameter | φ75 mm, 45# steel |
| Roller material | 45# steel, chrome plated ≤0.05 mm |
| Main motor | 15 kW |
| Hydraulic punch | 3 groups |
| Hydraulic cutting power | 3 kW |
| Cutting blade | Cr12MoV, HRC 56–58 |

Final values follow the profile drawing and material grade. Tolerance, power supply and line layout are confirmed on the approved drawing.
Working process
From coil to finished profile
The sequence below is the standard layout for this model. Stations are added or removed when the section needs more forming passes.
- 01 Decoiling 3 t manual decoiler, coil ID 508 mm, OD up to 1500 mm.
- 02 Feeding guide Entry guide and pinch rolls keep the strip centred before the first pass.
- 03 Main roll forming 15 stations, gearbox driven, forming the rib and pan progressively.
- 04 Hydraulic punching Three punch groups for eave, ridge and side-lap fixing holes.
- 05 Cut to length Hydraulic post-cut, length set from the touch screen in millimetres.
- 06 Run-out table Receives the finished panel without marking the painted surface.
Main components
- Main roll forming machine 15 stations on a welded steel base, gearbox transmission, hardened and chrome plated rolls.
- Hydraulic punch unit Three groups of punches, die sets machined to the fixing layout of your profile.
- Hydraulic cutting device Post-cut shear with a Cr12MoV blade shaped to the panel section.
- PLC control cabinet Panasonic PLC, touch screen, encoder feedback for length and batch count.
- Hydraulic station 3 kW pump unit serving punching and cutting, with pressure gauge and relief valve.
- Run-out table 3 m roller table, height matched to the cut-off so panels do not drop.
Optional configuration
Samples & running line
Profiles from this machine, and the line in motion
Every line is sampled before shipment. Photos below are from the build of this model; the video shows the line running on production material.
Samples are run on the line before shipment: one full panel plus a short offcut for each profile, measured for rib height, pitch and developed width against the approved drawing.
Profile range
- Trapezoidal roof panel, rib height 15–30 mm, pitch 200–250 mm
- Corrugated panel, 76 mm pitch × 18 mm rib (second roller set)
- Standing seam / hidden fix panel (dedicated tooling)
- Wall cladding panel, flat pan with a stiffening rib
Engineering & service
Custom build, installation and after-sales
A roll forming line is only finished when it runs on your material at your output. These three parts of the scope are quoted together with the machine.
Custom engineering
The rib height, pitch and pan width are cut into the rolls, so the profile drawing is the starting point of every order. We can also build the same line as a double-layer frame if you sell two profiles into the same market, and match the panel width to the coil you can buy locally.
- Tooling cut to your drawing or sample
- Electrics to your plant voltage and frequency
- Layout and foundation drawing before shipment
Installation & training
An engineer supervises installation and trains your operators on the actual line — not on a generic manual. Training covers coil loading, size change, tooling change and daily maintenance.
- On-site commissioning and first production run
- Operator training on your material
- Remote video support if travel is not practical
After-sales support
A 12-month warranty on the mechanical parts, with a 24-hour response on technical enquiries. Wearing parts — rollers, punch dies, hydraulic seals — are kept in stock for fast dispatch.
- 12-month mechanical warranty
- Spare rollers and dies from stock
- 24-hour response on remote support
What we need from you
Four inputs that decide 80% of the design
- 01 Profile drawing with dimensions and tolerances
- 02 Material type, thickness range and steel grade
- 03 Target output per shift or per day
- 04 Plant voltage, frequency and available floor length

FAQ
Questions buyers ask about this machine
Answers come from real quotation discussions on this model. If your question is not here, ask it in the form below and an engineer will answer it directly.
What thickness of color steel can this line run?
0.5–0.8 mm prepainted coil up to 550 MPa tensile. Thinner gauges down to 0.3 mm are possible with a re-set roll gap and a lighter hydraulic pressure, but the panel stiffness drops accordingly.
Can one line produce two roof profiles?
Yes, in two ways. The cheaper route is an interchangeable roller set: about 4–6 hours of changeover with a crane. The faster route is a double-layer frame, where both forming trains are mounted on one base and a switching device selects the active pass.
How long is delivery?
45–70 days after the profile drawing and colour sample are approved. Sea freight to your port adds roughly 3–5 weeks depending on destination and sailing schedule.
What is included in the quotation?
Machine scope, one set of tooling for your profile, PLC and electrics to your plant standard, foundation drawing, operation and maintenance manuals, and the first-off sample report. Installation and commissioning are quoted separately or bundled, depending on destination.
What do you need from me to quote?
Profile drawing with dimensions and tolerances (DXF or PDF), material type and thickness range, coil width you can source, target output per shift, and your plant voltage and frequency.
