Pakistan projects Production line: Roof Panel

Shipping and installation

Delivering to Pakistan

Ports, transit time and electrical standard are the three things that change from country to country. The machine itself is built to your section drawing wherever it ships.

Pakistan has a large roofing and steel building market, and repeat orders are common once a producer has a line running at stable output. TUT Machinery supplied a roof sheet roll forming machine to a customer in Pakistan, and that customer came back for a second machine after running the first one in production — the second line was completed in our factory and prepared for on-site installation.

Shipment to Pakistan goes by sea, usually to Karachi, with transit of roughly 2 to 3 weeks. Machines are configured for 415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase, which matches the industrial supply in Pakistani plants. For repeat orders we hold the original profile drawings and electrical records, so the second line matches the first in section dimensions, line speed and spare parts — an operator trained on one machine can run the other without retraining.

Questions

Buying and shipping to Pakistan

Why did the Pakistani customer order a second machine?

The first roof sheet line reached stable production and the customer needed more capacity. Because we keep the profile drawings and electrical records from the original order, the second line was built to match the first — same section dimensions, same line speed, same spare parts — so the customer could add capacity without changing how their operators work.

Can the second line produce a different profile?

Yes. A repeat order can copy the original profile exactly, or be built with a new roll set for a different section. Send the drawing for the new profile and we will quote the roll set separately; the frame, drive and control system can often stay the same, which keeps the cost of adding a profile lower than buying another complete line.

How long does delivery to Pakistan take?

Production is typically 60 to 90 days depending on line complexity, followed by 2 to 3 weeks of sea freight to Karachi. We handle export packing in wooden crates and provide the documentation set for customs clearance, and our engineers can travel to your site for installation and commissioning.
