Ports, transit time and electrical standard are the three things that change from country to country. The machine itself is built to your section drawing wherever it ships.
Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing markets for light-gauge steel framing in Southeast Asia, and purlin production has moved from importing finished sections to running lines locally. TUT Machinery shipped a CZ purlin roll forming machine to a customer in Vietnam in March 2019, loaded in a single 40ft container. The line runs material from 1.0 to 3.0 mm and produces CZ purlins with web widths from 100 to 300 mm, with size changeover handled by PLC so the operator selects the next profile on screen instead of changing spacers by hand.
Delivery to Vietnam is by sea, typically to Haiphong in the north or Ho Chi Minh City in the south, with transit of roughly 2 to 3 weeks from our Wuxi factory. Machines are built for the 380 V, 50 Hz, three-phase supply standard in Vietnamese plants; if your site runs a different voltage or needs a 220 V control circuit, our electrical team configures the panel before shipment. Installation and operator training can be arranged on site, and spare parts — rolls, bearings, cutting blades — are stocked for replenishment after the line is running.
Questions
The machine shipped to Vietnam forms CZ purlins from 1.0 to 3.0 mm material with web widths from 100 to 300 mm. Size changeover is PLC controlled, so switching to the next profile does not require changing spacers or re-setting rolls by hand. We size the roll set to your own section drawing when the order is placed.
The line is loaded in a 40ft container at our factory and shipped by sea to Haiphong or Ho Chi Minh City, with transit of roughly 2 to 3 weeks. Each module travels in a wooden crate with the hydraulic station and control cabinet packed separately, and we provide the full export document set for Vietnamese customs clearance.
Yes. Our engineers can travel to your plant in Vietnam for mechanical installation, alignment, trial coils and operator training. After commissioning we stay available for remote support, and spare parts such as rolls, bearings and cutting blades are stocked for quick replenishment.
