Delivering to China

Ports, transit time and electrical standard are the three things that change from country to country. The machine itself is built to your section drawing wherever it ships.

Our home market is where most of our lines run, and it is also where the hardest specifications are set. Two projects show the range: a cable tray line delivered to a Chinese customer in July 2020, configured to run inline with an automatic robot welding system so the formed tray feeds directly into welding without manual handling; and a truck beam line handling material up to 3.5 mm, test run in our factory for one of China's largest truck manufacturers, where the section is structural rather than decorative and thickness drives the whole machine design.

Domestic delivery is by road: modules are craned onto flatbed trucks and reach most Chinese plants within 1 to 3 days of the factory test run. Lines are built for the 380 V, 50 Hz, three-phase supply standard in Chinese plants. Because our engineering team is in Wuxi, installation, debugging and spare parts support are measured in days rather than weeks, which is why domestic customers come back for second and third lines and why export customers often visit the factory before placing an order.

Questions

Buying and shipping to China

Can a cable tray line be integrated with robot welding?

Yes. The cable tray line delivered to a Chinese customer in 2020 was configured to feed an automatic robot welding system inline, so formed tray moves straight into welding without being stacked and re-loaded by hand. Integration is agreed at order stage: we match the line output speed, cut length and discharge height to the welding cell, and confirm the handover during the factory test run.

What is the thickest material your lines handle?

It depends on the section. For heavy structural profiles such as truck beams we have built and test run a line handling material up to 3.5 mm; for roofing and cladding lines the working range is typically 0.3 to 1.2 mm. Thickness sets the drive power, shaft diameter, station count and frame stiffness, so it is one of the first questions we ask.

Can overseas customers visit the factory before ordering?

Yes, and many do. Our factory is in Wuxi, about 30 minutes from Shanghai by high-speed train. Visitors see the line being assembled, watch a test run on their own profile if the tooling is ready, and review the electrical panel and safety devices before signing. We can arrange pickup from Shanghai airports or railway stations.
